1. The Constitution of the United States, in its original intent as created by our Founding Fathers, shall be our governing document.
2. Restore COMPLETE independence of the United States. This includes a resolution to remove the United States from the United Nations, and remove the United Nations from the United States.
3. Return to a gold-backed currency. Make our money freely redeemable in gold at a redeemable price.
4. Reduce our federal government by reducing government bureaus, government civilian employees, and removing our government out of areas not authorized by our Constitution. Examples of these areas would be education, banking, medical, welfare, energy, retirement, art.
5. Withdraw all United States troops from everywhere on earth that is not United States soil, except for in a case of a proper Congressional declaration of war as outlined in our Constitution.
If you would like to see something added to this, please let me know.

I will be working on the platform over the next few weeks. I would really like some help. I really didn't want this to be all about what I thought. But I guess a lot of people are more into talking about change (or more like complaining about the current situation) than doing anything.
I hope to have the platform up and accessible by the end of July, but it may be August.

Hello all!
I have been talking with many conservatives about a new party. Though many agree that our current options are not staying true to the Constitution and vision of our Founding Fathers, they are still concerned about the start of a new party. The reason: the general belief is that a new party would split the conservative vote, allowing the liberals to overrun our country.
I have to say, that even though I am the founder of a new political party, I would have to agree. Therefore, it is my thought that our party should work within other parties for the time-being. As a party we will officially endorse any candidate that lines up with the Constitution and our beliefs.
As I said, this is "for the time-being". It is my hope that this party will grow and flourish, and at some point be a party that cannot be ignored. When this happens, we will begin searching for and backing our own candidates. We must, however, feel confident as a party that we can have a strong voice, and not a whimpy squeak!
As to who we will endorse... Currently, the majority of candidates that come close to our beliefs...the Founding Fathers' beliefs...are within the Republican Party. Now, that does not mean we will only endorse Republican Candidates. However, the Republican Platform in it's current state is closest to what our Platform is shaping up to be. If a Republican candidate is holding true to their party's platform, they may be a candidate we choose to endorse.
As for candidates of other parties... Well, let's face it, their platforms fall short of what our government should be. They are more special-interest motivated, they are more for bigger government, and they either hold to wacked-out theories, socialist beliefs, or are anti-American. So for a candidate from other parties to get our endorsement, they would have to part from their parties' platforms. If that happens, we may consider backing them.
Having said all that, I would like to encourage all of you to get involved on a local level. Wake up your precincts, districts, and counties. Watch for the candidates that you would see as worthy of our party's support. Let us, your fellow party members, know about those candidates, and then get involved to get them elected. Tell everyone about our party, and invite them to join.
We The People are the only ones that can take this country back. Don't wait for someone else to do it! You do it! You are part of We!
